I'm not overly excited about this item. The price seemed high for five cookie-cutter lamps and a totally "meh" backing plate. I like the chrome strip, but mine had a distinct bow in it that is obvious if you know where to look. My family doesn't notice those things, and sometimes it's too much trouble to send things back. I mounted mine upside down, which works fine, and I used small warm-white LED bulbs that together make for a good bathroom lighting situation. I'm afraid the brass plating looks about 5 atoms thick, especially on the curved parts of the lamp assemblies, but I'll probably be long-gone before rust or base-metal shows through. If that happens, however, I *promise* to come back and haunt Livex, probably in their management break-room.
