This has become my favorite around-town winter coat. I am between a small and medium in most things (5'8, 140lbs, athletic build) and went with a small in this given other reviews. It fits exactly how I wanted -- fit and flattering (not puffy like some winter coats) to where I can wear a sweater underneath just fine, but wouldn't add too many other layers or else my movement would be restricted. This hits me right at my hips (as opposed to some longer coats) and is super cozy. The inside is soft and silky and the outside is cordura-esque fabric that is resistant to tearing. This is therefore not a packable down coat for backpacking, etc. There are 2 external pockets and 1 internal one. The sheepskin collar is a nice touch, and I love zipping it all the way up when it is windy out. The coat doesn't have a hood, but I prefer to wear a hat anyhow, so I like that feature. Ultimately, I love this coat and am 100% happy with it.I wore this at Schilthorn, Switzerland last week. It kept me warm in -7degree (Celsius) with a wool base layer and knit sweater underneath. I’m 5”1 and 129lbs. Loved the color and the fit too. It didn’t make me look like I gained extra pounds unlike other winter jackets.Planning to get the red and the green one on my next winter hike. I’m a fan of this jacket.Very warm jacket, does run a bit smallIt’s not bad if it wasn’t for the collar that always sticks up against your face even when not fully zipped. will be exchanging for a different style without such a stiff collarSoft with strong outer shell. Low in weight, looks good.Perfect fit and warm jacket.
