I'll skip to the end, and then start over with details. It took me about an hour to install, but it would have been faster had I started more slowly. Now that it's installed, it's awesome!First, I tried to leave in my old latch backset. Mistake! Replace that part with the parts included with the kit. Why? You need it for everything to line up properly. This part delayed me by about 15-20 minutes.Second, I didn't understand how to adjust the latch backset from 2 3/8" to 2 3/4". It's a simple pull twist and set. Granted, the instructions are basically nonexistent for this step (1) - only a diagram - but once I understood the puzzle, it was easy. This delayed me by about 5-7 minutes.After that, it was smooth sailing. Mount the front module; fasten the back mounting plate; Connect, mount & fasten the back module, batteries & battery cover. Done.I reset and entered a new password. Super easy. I tested the keys, key fob and code multiple times. Flawless. This is a great product.
