Large calf! Love the boot and really want to keep them but the calf measures 16 1/2" which is the wide calf measurement. I ordered the black and will return and order another in case it's sent in wrong size. The rest of the boot is just right. I am 7.5 but alwats order a 7 in born because the toe always seems to long. These fit perfect with thin socks but calf so wide it looks hideous.I purchased these after purchasing a black pair just like them. I wore them on a work trip to Mexico and couldn't believe how comfortable they are. The quality of Born boots has made them my go-to boot brand. I'm 6 feet tall, so I don't need a heel, so this 1-1/4" heel is perfect for guaranteed all day comfort. Comfort is key, but these are as cute as they are comfortable. I love these!!This is my third pair of Born boots and they are just as confortable as the rest. I do like that I can purchase on line and feel assured that they will fit and also be a good quality boot. They are more of a Charcoal grey with black front.The Born black/charcoal leather and suede boot is beautiful and comfortable. I also have the brown leather and suede boot. These boots feel and look great. They run true to size, and I like that they have a non-slip sole.What's not to like about my Born boots? This pair included. All are very well made, last for years, comfortable-they just plain fit my feet and my style!These boots are so comfortable and fit like a glove.
