This sandal is not brown; I would call it burnt orange. I was returning them because I'm not crazy about the color (maybe that is why they cost less than other colors), but my husband says he loves the "orange" color, so I'll keep them. I have the green version which I love and it goes with everything (not so with the orange). I ordered my usual size and both pairs fit fine.
