This is meant to be an underlayer that is not seen unless you are very comfortable wearing very minimal clothing. It is also meant to be tight against the skin for layering. I am 5/9", 130 pounds, and typically wear a small shirt and size 4 pants. The small camisole is comfortably tight up against my skin and the medium drapes loosely over my stomach. I have trouble with a long torso, but there is plenty of length in this to stay tucked. The material is very thin and silky comfortable. The shelf bra is not going to provide support against bounciness and the material is so thin even the 2 layers do not offer much modesty from headlights in the cold. For me with barely a size A cup, this is perfect. Sports bras are all too tight around the ribs and shoulders and I don't need that. This stays in place better than most camisoles and is perfect to just give a minimal extra layer with comfortable fabric that absorbs dripping sweat. The straps are thin and very stretchy and unfortunately a bit scratchy feeling but I can live with that. It is cut very high in the chest and also feels high in the armpits. It is perfect for my desired use of wearing a wicking layer under a wool baselayer that absorbs some sweat and is a bit more comfortable on sensitive areas. However, this camisole is going to be visible in the upper chest if you wear it under any shirt with a scoop neck or buttons. If you want it to not be seen, you will need to wear a crew neck or higher cut shirt (e.g. turtleneck).
